Yom Kippur brings to a close the Ten Days of Awe which began with Rosh HaShanah. Yom Kippur is known as the Day of Atonement, the most solemn holy day for the Jewish people. Atonement provides the reconciliation of G-d and man. We observe Yom Kippur by fasting, studying and praying for twenty-four hours. A Jewish feast or festival may contain multiple services and/or events. There are five services/events for our Yom Kippur observance: Erev Yom Kippur, Yom Kippur morning service, a Teaching/Yeshiva, Non-Liturgical Prayer, and the N’ilah service. Yom Kippur begins at sundown on Sunday, September 20, and continues through sundown on Monday, September 21.
Please join us for the following services. As always, there is no charge for seats and reservations are not required.
