Children’s Shabbat Morning

Every Shabbat, we offer classes for our children to learn more about G-d, the Bible, and the Jewish roots of their faith. Our goal is to walk out Proverbs 22:6 and train up each child in
G-d’s Word.  On Shabbat morning, we have opportunities for all ages:

9:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Nursery (ages 0-5) – the BHS Nursery is open starting at 9:30 am every Shabbat.  Check in your child in the Children’s Ed wing where they will be taught and cared for by our faithful nursery volunteers.

9:30 AM – 10:20 AM – BHS Kids (ages 6 – 9) – this age group meets each Shabbat during the Fall/Spring semester.  Check in your child in the Children’s Ed wing where they will be taught Biblical lessons.

*After Shabbat school ends at 10:30 AM, all children ages 6-9 are to be picked up and join their families for worship in the main sanctuary.  After worship and the Torah reading, children will be dismissed to attend Jr. Shabbat.

9:30 AM – 10:20 AM – Jewish Studies (ages 10-12) – this age group meets each Shabbat during the Fall/Spring semester.  Check-in your child in the Lamed classroom where they will be taught about discipleship, Biblical history, the Jewish roots of their faith, more!

*After Shabbat school ends at 10:30 AM, all children ages 10-12 are to be picked up and join their families for worship in the main sanctuary.  After worship and the Torah reading, children ages 10-12 are encouraged to stay and listen to the main message as a family.

9:30 AM – 10:20 AM – Youth (ages 13-18) – this age group meets each Shabbat during the Fall/Spring semester. Check in your child in the upstairs youth room where they will be discipled and taught Biblical lessons and application.

We invite all parents to attend our Adult Shabbat School classes, Bagel Nosh, or Prayer before service!
