00 I have the privilege of introducing a dear friend of mine. For as our guest speaker today. I'll wait until he finishes getting his microphone done Rabbi. Troy Wallace is one of the vice presidents at Jewish voice Ministries based in Phoenix, Arizona, Rabbi. Troy wants you come on up and more importantly. More importantly has been my friend for the better part of two decades now. And we've been walking together for a long time and I'm enjoying it. I've finished about some Mayim Our Father in Heaven Lord. I Thank you for Rabbi Troy and for the Wallace family. Lord I pray that you would continue to bless them

46 and watch over them. Lord and guide them as they seek your face. I pray that you would speak to us today that you would open our ears to hear what you would have to say to each one of us today through Rabbi, Troy. We bless you and yeshua's name. amen Rabbi R is always a privilege to be here. It's funny. I feel like it's family to me. I've known Ari like personally for about 20 years. Of course, I've known Brittany for about half that time alongside of them. But Marty and Marlene, I think gosh, I've known your name for the better part of 40 years. Like that's true about me personally that

32 I've known your name for close to 40 years and it's just a blessing to be here and to see the community continue to grow into mature. Also Rabbi Sean. I just got to say, you know, we don't believe in reincarnation. But if I did I would say that you're The Reincarnation of Keith Green. I just that's just what we don't believe in reincarnation, but Man, just I just I'm so blessed. Every time you lead worship Val good to see you again. Your kids are all grown. Now. Me and Ari are getting jealous of that because we still got little ones but I also get to have my wife here with me today Jen Cohen in my kids. Just we love you. I love

18 you. You're the best. We're gonna be here through the holidays with BHS this year, which is just a real joy for us. And so thank you for allowing us to be here. I also just want to say greetings on behalf of Rabbi Jonathan Bernice and Rabbi Ezra watnik the two leaders at Jewish voice. We just brought a team through a week of Outreach in Ethiopia this week. And so we're just really grateful and I'm so privileged to stand in front of you and say among those who have been scattered from the people of Israel. Yeshua is being proclaimed and exalted and they are returning to the Lord and returning and strengthening their identity as the ones from Israel who are lost and have been found and

05 Yeshua is alive in the midst of them. You know Rabbi Marty. We were talking in the car on the way here too. Just about the health. That BHS has somehow by God's grace and been able to keep through the decades of your service to the Lord and you know, I was struck today by part of the way that you're creating health is by having shofar practice. That is organized. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you. Thank you the Messianic Jewish Community thanks you for activities like that, sir. So and of course Ari that may have been on your watch that so far practice was organized, but nonetheless God is good. Just one more thing.

52 As part of my intro here this morning, we have been privileged as Jewish voice to have an open door in Zambia to reach the Limba Community there in partnership with a fellow named Rabbi Alex yalenga. I don't know if you all know Alex or if you've heard of him, but I just want to petition you for your prayers for our work next month in Zambia for the first time. We're going to put together a medical Outreach to be able to reach the Lemba in Zambia. So I just I'm petitioning you for your prayers. Will you pray with us about that? There's three people who will that's so encouraging. Amen. well I know that you know this but this

39 is the season of repentance the month of elul and I I think that some people know this but a little the month of a little is a contraction an abbreviation of anele. I am my beloveds in my beloved is mine. Do you know That Hashem the god of Israel loves us. Like he loves us and in his love for us. He's also calling us to continue to repent to continue to do to Shiva to continue to turn back to him in all areas of our lives. And you know, sometimes we live in this interesting intersection as the Messianic Jewish Community. We sort of intersect the Jewish world and we

26 intersect the Christian world. And oftentimes sort of like in Christian thinking repentance is this one and done deal? But in Jewish thinking repentance is the process of our life and I'm convinced that the superpower. Of a Jewish life is repentant. continuing to have a soft heart and always seeking after the ways that we can turn every subtlety of Our Lives over to the Lord completely and entirely, you know, there's lots of themes for this season the coronation of the king our expectation as followers of Yeshua that that Trump it's gonna sound and we're gonna see him

12 face to face like there's so much excitement in that part of Russia Shana and the days of all, but we shouldn't skip repentance Too quick and we've got about 36 hours left in the month of a little. Before we enter formally into the days of awe and I just wanted to reflect on a couple themes for the season and then look back at the last verse that you read. So wonderfully from the Torah today. The themes are sort of reminding the Lord. We have to remind God of his attributes of mercy and while we're reminding him about it. We're reminding ourselves, you know, slick Hut or the the recitation of the 13 attributes of

00 Mercy in formal confessions in the liturgical cycle. Began last Shabbat. At the end of Shabbat specifically and we're we're not just reminding God of his Mercy towards us and reminding ourselves of his Mercy towards us. We're also looking to reconcile with other people and I've been reading some of the halica about Toshiba. And we can't ask God for forgiveness for a sin that we've done against someone else until we first gone and asked that person. It's not an interesting idea. There's laws about how to do repentance. I don't know how many of you that excites, but that kind of stuff excites me. Like I love to think about these themes and of course we're examining ourselves. Hey, where can we turn away from sin?

49 Now, I don't know about your story in coming to the saving knowledge of Yeshua. I'm not sure where that first repentance moment was where you named the name of Yeshua. you know in the beginning of me turning back. The first at first I had to give up like really obvious sins. you know, it was like How am I spending my time? What am I doing on the weekends during college? you know like it was obvious since but as I hope I've matured that was a did you notice that as I hope I have matured. Those things become much more subtle.

37 And that that's what brings me to this last verse. from chapter 29 of Deuteronomy This is of course Moses speaking. I love to think about that Moses's sermon is the book of Deuteronomy. So if you think Rabbi Ari is long-winded from time to time. He's got nothing on Moses. You know what I'm saying? But it says this. In 2928, it says hanistarately. No vahani gloat Lano. Ullapinano, add olamide Assad had called DeVry had Torah hazote.

23 And a common translation or New King James will translate it like this the secret things belong to the Lord our God. But those things which are revealed belong to us into our children forever. So that we can feel good about ourselves know so that we can do all the words of the Torah. We can do all the words of the Torah by the power of the holy spirit in Yeshua. Now, there's some things we can't do because the temple is not built. But our orientation is that we can keep the law. I just want to say that that's a really strong thing sometimes in the way that people preach. But our orientation is that we expect to do what God told us to do.

10 Does that anybody else's expectation in here? And it says this idea here that hanista wrote. the the secrets the hiddens and new King James are the King James translators and his true of NIV as well. They add things to help add meaning to a pluralized word like the secrets belong to God the hidden things belong to God, but they add things to help with the translation. Honey, gloat is the uncovered things the things that have been revealed the uncovered the reveals. But I don't know how many of you look at more

57 traditional Jewish translations, but this is how messora art scroll translates this verse. the hidden sins Are for the Lord? The revealed sins are for us. Why would they say it that way? Why would they choose not to pluralize it as things but as sins? Because within a Jewish way of thinking is a longing to continue to have our hearts purified in the process of repentance. When I was just turning back to the Lord. My sins were obvious to everyone.

46 My wife would say some of my sins are still obvious to everyone. But there's these issues of the heart. That are sort of hidden down in there. And in our seeking a time of repentance and reflection we want to bring those things up. The things that belong to Hashem to the Lord to Yeshua, we want him to bring those things that belong to him up. So that we can own our sin before him and continue to walk out our salvation with fear and trembling. Morning.

33 Maybe not might be a little bit heavy. There's some good news at the end though. I promise you that, you know, I was also thinking about the fact that Proverbs tells us. That's the glory of the Lord to hide a matter. And it's the Glory of Kings. I'll make it General new gender neutral kings and queens to search that matter out. Do we think about the fact that part of our Authority as believers? Is to seek out the the Brokenness that still hidden in our hearts. Like I think that's part of our Authority now, I don't know if you're like, I don't know Troy. I

19 did my repentance thing. Like that's all behind me. Really? How did you do the other day going down 635 when that guy cut you off? I'm in somebody's business now. But where are these things hidden? Where are our ongoing maturing in the Lord? Where are these things hidden? I think Jeremiah tells us. Where they're hidden? in her hearts He says this is so encouraging right? I'm just I'm encouraging your socks off the Shabbat. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.

04 Like it's almost like Jeremiah is getting ready to give up here like who can know? And she think about Jeremiah's life like Jeremiah lived in amazing life before the Lord and this is his reflection. Verse 10 I the Lord searched the heart. I test the mind even to give every man according to his ways according to the fruit of his doings. There's still some issues hidden in our heart that we're hoping that the Lord will test us try a search us and while he is doing that. So also should we is my contention. So if we get back to the themes of the season I just want to highlight us evaluating the

52 subtleties of our own motivations the subtleties of our hearts, and this is really at least in my own view. This is a very encouraging message. Because it's inviting the Lord who does the searching to get deeper down into our business. like we want the spirit of the Living God Bo ruach Elohim we want it to come and fill every nook and cranny. and I think one of the toughest places for us to be willing to evaluate openly is this idea. The temptation of our own destiny. Oh gosh, Troy this sounds so way out there. Like what are you talking about? Well,

40 I think about the fact that all of us have a calling or a purpose in the Lord like that's my encouragement to you this morning. The Lord has something that he intends for your life for your family for your career. That is a gift from him. It's what he set you apart for. It's what he knew you in the womb of your mother as you were being knit together. He has a purpose of calling he has a destiny if I'm using maybe some more charismatically meaning language, I would say he has an anointing for your life. I'm in like does everybody there's my one encouraging sentence. You have a calling on your life.

27 but I think about like let's let's think about Lucifer for a minute. Oh boy. It just got heavy in here didn't it? But he was created. as the bright and Morning Star like that was his original purpose if I can say it that way. But he got so full of himself that he thought he could take on the Lord. Like what was he thinking? His calling his the magnificence of what the Lord had created him to do got the better of him. I mean we think about that with I don't know. I mean there's some people that are on TV guys like they know how to preach. But it gets in the way.

14 Like they're so attractive to so many people that all the sudden they have 13 cars. It's so attractive to so many people that all of a sudden. They're beyond their wife or their husband. Like it's so attractive and that's the thing that actually becomes the Temptation. The Temptation is the thing that they were set apart by the Lord to do and it's the thing that takes them off track. Now you might be judging some TV preacher in your heart right now. I just want to say what about you? Like you're called. To be a worship leader, but you're not on the

00 stage with Sean yet. Are you manipulating circumstances in your life so that you can get on the stage and become the best worship leader of all times? I just want to say if you are called to be a worship leader. I bet Rabbi Sean would work with you. But if you're going to manipulate your way into that, it's not gonna go well for you. We don't want our destiny in God to get in the way. Now I'm gonna look at yeshua's life. He's gonna be our example today and we're gonna dig in a little bit and I'm gonna ask us some questions. I'm gonna come up with three premises. Based on how you're sure responded to Temptations related to his own destiny. That's what I'm gonna do. But I feel like we've got to set up.

46 What is yeshua's destiny? Notice, I didn't ask. What was yeshua's Destiny? What is yeshua's destiny? And given what Yeshua says about his own destiny. Will look at how he was tempted. To pursue that Destiny if I may outside the will of the father. And he says it really clearly in John 18 to Pilot. I love this passage. I love this passage Yeshua. The son of David the Son of God is standing in front of the Emissary who it represents the evil one world government of his day. Oh my gosh, that's so exciting to think about

33 like He's standing before the representative of the Antichrist in the age in which he was alive. And they're having this conversation. What is truth? How do you deal with power and pilate says to Yeshua, are you a king then? Because he's testing if this is about to be a rebellion against his own authority or the authority of Caesar. Yeshua says, no, I'm not really no. No, he says you rightly say that I am a king. For this cause I was born let me interpret that for a minute. For the cause of being a king. I was born. And for this cause that is for being a king.

19 I have come into the world. That as king I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice. Is there any doubt here what Yeshua sees his own destiny as like Yeshua had to die on the cross. But the reason that he was born was to be a king. I could dig right into some Rosh Hashanah themes there. Come on now somebody. That was just for you Mama. That was just for you. There's no doubt. here, this is why I This is why I became flesh in the world that was created by me.

04 At the agency of my father. So just in case there's any doubt I put it in Big Red Letters on the screen. Yes. She was Destiny is to be a king. Now here's an interesting thing. He seeded in Heavenly places high above far above all hymns and blessings and praises and consolations which are spoken in the world. That's where he is right now, but is he a king on the earth yet? Through us through our hearts through our words through our actions. We can come up with like a modified. Yes. But the expectation is that one day Jesus is gonna sit on the throne of David in Jerusalem and dispense Justice over the nations

51 of the Earth. Governmental Justice economic justice social justice ecological Justice and it's going to be a one world government. Like did you catch what I just said? There really will be a Jew rule in over the world the protocols and the Elders of Zion are a little bit right? The protocols to the elders design are not right. I don't want to be taken out of context. I'm I'm saying they're really will be a one world Jewish government. and it's gonna take Fine and you know what the going to be celebrating some code or they're not going to get rain on their land like it's it's the real deal. It's gonna happen.

37 That's our expectation. So if yeshua's Destiny is to be a king. Let's just look at a few examples of how he was tempted to be king and look at three premises and ask three questions. Okay. Are you ready? Premise number one. There are no shortcuts. We're talking about Yeshua here, but I'm hoping that you'll apply it to your own heart. That desire of your heart that calling that purpose that destiny that you feel like the Lord spoken to you and you've had confirmed when you open the scripture and you've had confirmed by a leader in your life. There's no shortcuts. Like I'm thinking about Yeshua in the wilderness.

25 The end of his 40 days of fasting so in re you know, there's some people that think that that 40-day period was a little in the days of all there are some Scholars that make that case. I don't know I get confused sometimes because they're arguments are so complicated but at the end close to the end of 40 days. the devil Comes has Satan the enemy comes to Yeshua. And Luke records it for us. the devil taking Yeshua up on a high mountain showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and the enemy said to him all this Authority. I will give to you. And I'll give you their Glory. For this has been delivered to me and I give it to whomever I

11 wish. Therefore if you will worship me. All this will be yours is Yeshua confused about who to worship? Like he's been worshiping the father since before the beginning and way before in the beginning, you know, like him in the father have been he's not confused. About who to worship here. Why is this an effective Temptation? Like, why did the enemy come to him with this? Because Yeshua is Destiny is to rule over all the kingdoms of this world. Yeshua's Destiny is to have the glory of the Nations come and be laid at his feet. And the enemies Temptation here is hey, I'll offer you a shortcut. All I got to do is take a knee.

57 And then you won't have to go to the cross. Just just take a knee before me. It's been all been given to me. I'll give it to you. Like the issue is not confused about who to worship here. That's why he answers so clearly in verse 8. The Temptation is that there could be a shortcut. Yeshua's responses get behind me Satan like I love it again. He's so I don't know. I don't know how y'all read Yeshua, but he's so confident like he's so strong. We're gonna get to the Gethsemane in a minute. But but he's so confident in the way that he carries himself. Now. Here's the funny thing. It says at the end. So the enemy left until there was a more opportune time. You know, when we overcome Temptation, we should celebrate for about 30 seconds. You know, I passed

45 that test because there's another test right around the corner and usually the test around the corner is after you did something right. Oh man, I overcame that temptation. Right into the next one, you know. Where else did Yeshua say get behind me Satan? Peter so the Devil comes to Yeshua and offers them in shortcut, then you shoot one of you she was closest friends like his lead disciple. The Lord starts talking about hey, I'm gonna have to suffer and die. Yeshua let me pull you aside here. I'm your friend. I'm your co-minister. I'm your Chief of Staff. Let me tell you you're not here to die. You're here to

31 be the son of David. You're gonna Deliver Us from Rome. Let me tell you. What's issue was response? Get behind me Satan. You're not thinking like God you're thinking like man, which is exactly what the context is of Jeremiah 17 Jeremiah 17 about the wickedness of the heart is comparing and trusting Israel and judah's willingness. To trust the Lord or trust the ways of men that's actually the context of the wickedness of the heart. And Yeshua was calling that out in Peter. he said give me Satan like Sean how would you feel if you went to Ari and his response to you is get behind me Satan you'd be like I gotta look for a new job, you know like

21 But why is yeshuis so strong to Peter when it is closest friends and his fellow come ministers? Because Peter saying you don't have to go through the cross. There's a shortcut here Lord. So my question to you for you to ponder. That's we're headed into the days of all where we are excited about Yeshua fulfilling his Destiny like we are longing for it. We're begging him for it. It's just this. Maybe are you taking or looking for a shortcuts in the pursuit of your calling? I've done that just just let the Lord minister to you. You might have a quick no, I'm in that's wonderful. Really.

06 In case and there's any psychologists in the room, of course, I am saying this because I am wrestling with this. Please diagnose me. Later. All right. How about premise number two? There's a right time. So I could summarize number one and say hey there's a right way, like don't go the short way. But there's also a right time like I think I love to think about Yeshua in his Humanity. You know, we got so much about him as the Son of God if you will the son of David our expectation, but you know, Jesus also had half brothers and sisters and he grew up with a stepdad. Jesus had a stepdad every time I say that out loud, my

52 mind gets wrinkled a little bit. Like I just think that's amazing. Do you have a blended family from remarriage do you come from one? Do you know that Yeshua can specifically identify with your psychological makeup because he had the same thing. I just I just love that I could. I better move on quick because I'm about to start preaching. Like he's just a regular guy. And of God, the son of David I'm not trying to diminish that whatsoever. But like he's a guy that has an emotional makeup like he has a psychology. And I love to think about what we're talking about. There's a right time. Look at this passage from John Chapter 7. Just what? Can you see some severing sibling

37 rivalry here? His brothers. Therefore said to him Yeshua. No one does anything a secret why he himself seeks to be known openly. If you do these things show yourself to the world. Verse 5 is John's commentary for even his brothers did not believe in him. Then you should have said to them listen to this about timing. My time has not yet. Come. Your time is always ready the world can hate you but it hates me because I testify to the world that all of its works are evil. Oh Jesus your blessing my socks off right now. And heat Yeshua says to them you go up to the feast I'm not yet going up to the Feast for my time is not yet fully come.

24 Now this is about timing. And there's some sibling rivalry as some maybe familial context here, but his brothers are saying hey Now's the Time in the course. They're making fun of them. Like they're not actually saying this under the anointing of the Lord but like wouldn't you be tempted if you're happy brothers were doing that to just like put some kind of smack down on them real quick, like watch this. Boom breads turn stones turn into bread. I don't know whatever it is. I've watched this fire comes down from heaven. You know, I say like Jesus the man right here. And he's like, hey, my time's not yet. Like can you feel that in his emotions for a minute like oh my brothers. I should just go outside and raise someone from the dead real quick. I'll show them.

11 But it wasn't the right time now that's inside the family. So the enemy has shown up and try to tempt Yeshua his lead disciple and Chief of Staff has tried to tempt him now. His family has tried to tempt it. You know in the space of mockery. Oh, no, some of you might be imagining your own family right now. I encourage you to go through with that imagination. But how are you handling it in your heart. this one this is oh wait too fast. What happened too many Oh, yeah, oops, where am I? I'm almost there. Let me go. Oh here it is. John chapter 6 defeating of the five thousand

01 Jesus does this amazing Miracle 5,000 men? There's also women and children there. They get fed with bread. And here's the people's response. This is truly the prophet who's coming to the world. like can you imagine Yeshua and his mama like finally obvious pect finally I got some Finally, I got some recognition. To change my Instagram followers just went up by 5,000. And when he Yeshua perceive that they were about to come and take him by force to make him King. He departed again to the mountain by himself

46 alone. Like what's the Temptation here guys? thousand people going I was born to rule over Phoenix. That's true about me. That's not actually true about me, by the way. I hope one day to rule over three small cities, but that's another conversation. Can you see the Temptation here? Like would you have the guts to turn down 5,000 people who are telling you that this is the will for your life and you know that it actually is the will for your life if it was in the wrong timing. What in the world? So let me ask a question and I'll move to all

33 the other slides that you already saw. Are you practicing patience? And waiting for the right time in pursuing your destiny. Patience is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. And Ari knows me and is wondering if the spirit is even active in my life. And that's just when I'm in the drive-through. Much less waiting for my destiny to come to pass. Are we practicing patience in the pursuit of our destiny Our Calling All Purpose in God, this is a deep area of the heart. Like there's some this and things inside the wickedness of our heart where we can use the Lord's calling

18 on our lives. We can use his name in vain to excuse unrighteousness in an unwillingness to wait. Oh, yeah. There's some good news at the end. I promise but one more. This is my most encouraging sentence of the day. It will be hard. And the Jews are in the room are like really. It'll be hard. Let's let's look at Gethsemane for a minute. As our example in yeshua's life. That it will be hard. Yeshua took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee and he began to be sorrowful and deeply

03 distressed just the son of God. The son of David who was born to be a king had moments in his life where he was sorrowful and deeply distressed. I just want to give you permission. To be sorrowful with God sometimes there's no sin in what Yeshua is doing right here. And he says to the disciples. My soul is exceedingly sorrowful even unto death guys. I'm so sad. I want to die. These are words coming out of Jesus's mouth. What like that's intent. And he went a little further fell on his face and prayed saying oh my father if it is possible, let this cup pass for me.

50 and immediately he follows up with nevertheless not as I will but as you will like Yeshua is saying Yeshua and the father had preordained the whole thing that he's going through and he's like, hey papa now that I'm here. Can we do this some other way? Like this is hard. I want to die. I don't like this. Father's like don't worry son 24 hours or so. You'll be dead anyways. Couldn't help. Sorry. Like do you see what's happening here? Yeshua didn't sin when he asked the God for another way. Now the father didn't let him out of it. and I just wanted I want to encourage you with how hard it is.

38 He said that two more times. Oh man went all the way to the end. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong there guys. He said two more times. Father will you take this cup for me? Not as I will but as you will one more time, he says father will you take this cup from me? And he's Luke 22 tells us he's sweating blood like that's a real medical condition where you get so stressed out like We're so stressed out. We're so busy in our lives. Never been a more stressful age, but I don't think any of us have ever sweat blood. If you have please come and correct me after the service. I'm sure a few of you will correct me about something else anyways, but correct me about that, too. so if it's if there's no shortcuts.

26 Great. This is the second verse right here. He does say rise. Let's be going. And guess what happens next? Another of his chief disciples comes in betrays him with a kiss. whoa How would you handle that? like Yeshua Embraces him a little bit like he's a little stiff. I think like I picture him a little stiff like, oh you're gonna betray me with a kiss. Are you, you know, it's like he's got a little bit of tone with with Judas, but but he just takes it. From someone who's very very close to him and this is all in pursuit of his Destiny. By the way. This is all because he was born to be a king now. Now what were you born to do?

15 There's good news because you were born to do something. But what's the means by which the Lord wants to accomplish that in your life. Is there anything in your flesh? That's Desiring to do it a different way. This is the perfect time to take something as deep as this before the Lord. In the expectation according to our tradition that tomorrow night the doors of repentance will be fully open and available to us. That God forbid. I mean I want to beg you and I want to cry a little bit God forbid our calling our destiny our purpose our anointing in the Lord is the thing that takes us off track. That would be terrible. Again, remember my first example Lucifer's the the

03 shining example of a mistake like that. Are you looking for the easy way to fulfill your purpose? Can I just encourage you lovingly don't? Marlene isn't that easier said than done? It's like I remember I grew up with a guy named Asher and Trader. He used to stand in the pulpit and say stop sinning. That's great advice, you know. Don't look for the easy way. Good news. I promised some good news. After I remind you that there are no shortcuts there's this right time and it will be hard good news comes from kefa from Peter from from James from yaakov and from Paul from xiaol.

49 There's good news for us. Here. It is from Peter. the Lord is not slack concerning his promise as some may count slackness, and I just The Lord is not a slacker. Even if you feel like he's a slacker on delivering some promises in your life. But he's long suffering towards us. this isn't about his slackness in fulfilling a promise. It's his he's not slack to call judgment against us because he's long suffering towards us and he's not willing that any should perish. But that all should come to repentance. like his Jesus was born to be a king and

37 he's been waiting 2,000 years in the flesh. In Heavenly places in the flesh for his own destiny to come to pass. Like when we take him Lord You Made Me This Promise six months ago. He's like 2,000 years in the body 6,000 years since human history. I haven't fulfilled my destiny yet. Can I lend you some of my patients by the Holy Spirit? Hmm, he wants us all to come to this deep place with him. This place of repentance because he doesn't want anything to perish not only does he not want anyone to perish like let's think about people in the Everlasting Lake of Fire. He also doesn't want the work of his kingdom

23 in your life to perish. He wants it to continue. Like I like to think about things like this. I don't know I get challenged sometimes on the way I think of it so continuously, but I'm not sure I'll fulfill my destiny before I die. But I want you to know I will fulfill my destiny when I'm resurrected and I get to live forever with him. Like that's part of my perspective. I hope to fulfill as much as I can in my lifetime, but I don't want to get ahead of the game in my desire to fulfill my destiny because he wants everyone to repent. Like he's got a timeline here. He's trying to extend it all the way down to two seconds left in

10 the fourth quarter when the commanders are finally about to beat the Cowboys again. For the first time in two decades anyway, so where was I? Peter Kieva, what about James? Submit to God resist the devil he'll flee from you. Draw near to God he'll draw near to you cleanse your hands this whole idea that we're going through in the Toshiba season purify your hearts don't be double-minded. Now listen to this from from James from Yahoo lament and mourn and wheat while you're considering things to repent about let your laughter be turned to mourning in your joy to gloom. And here's the key humble yourself in the side of the Lord. He'll lift you up. Our humility our repentance is not without expectation.

00 Our humility and our repentance is with the expectation that in the right time. When we've demonstrated his character back to him, he will lift us up. I told you there's some good news in here somewhere. Hallelujah, all right preach it to myself. What about this one is oh man. This is from the NIV because I like the way they translate it. Oh, this is like a perfect. teshuva thought in your relationship with one another have the same mindset as Yeshua. Who being in very nature God? Did not consider equality with God something to

46 be used to his own advantage. in the power that you have do you use it to your own advantage? I don't know at work at the synagogue with finances over your children, whatever wherever the Lord has entrusted you with power. Can we be like Yeshua and not use power to our own Advantage rather like Yeshua make ourselves Nothing by taking on the nature of a servant even a servant among human likeness. And being found as a parent as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death even death. on a cross he was so humble. He was willing to

33 die and yet he was in his very nature God and he didn't use his power to his own Advantage like I'm convicted right now. And he didn't just submit to death. He submitted to like the worst death. Like our trials and we all have real trials. I am not diminishing anyone who's gone through crazy trauma in your life. I am not saying that that's okay. I'm saying that he'll even use that for Redemptive purpose. If we've gotten humble ourselves and wait for him to lift us up and because Yeshua did

18 this Paul continues. therefore the father exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name then at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow in heaven and on Earth and under the Earth and every tongue acknowledge that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord to the glory of God the Father therefore. because he didn't take power to his own Advantage because he was humble because he became a servant because he was obedient even unto death because he died therefore he was exalted. What about us guys? Like there's things that we got to go through in our lives before we're going to get the fullness of

04 our destiny before he's going to entrust us with the totality of our calling and it's not because he's against us it's because he's for us it's because he wants us to take full advantage of him as the Searcher of our hearts so that he knows he can entrust us with the Keys of the Kingdom. Like Jesus was born to be a king and to prove that he was worthy of the kingship. He had to die on the cross. Like it's not just the the expiation or the the Forgiveness of our sin that he died. He also died as an example to show us how we can enter into the fullness of what the father wants for us in our lives.

49 Well, can I pray for a minute and then turn it back over? Is that okay? And if there's anything in you that wants to say yes to this maybe in a particular way.
