Creating for His glory

The Visual Arts Ministry of Baruch HaShem Messianic Synagogue seeks to address the creative nature in humans -in His likeness, to profess faith, to worship, and share life through visual forms of expression…primarily fine arts. It is meant to encourage the work of an individual and the collaboration of groups by means of education, set standards, and by the intrinsic beauty of portraying visually.

Expressing evidence of His creativity is to serve the community both inside the walls and beyond as a means of conversation, worship, and edification of faith.

What We Do

Art Shows

We offer many art shows at Baruch Hashem throughout the year. We feature local, resident or popular artists and each show is structured to express a theme that relates to Scripture, Judaism, history, or G-D’s nature and attributes. Each show will include a reception and a chance to hear from the artist or collector. These events are for the glorification of G-D and the enjoyment of the community.  To learn more about upcoming art shows, please see our events page.

Art Demos

We also offer art demos throughout the year that give one an inside look at our resident artists creative process.  You will be given the opportunity to create alongside experts and ask questions about their process, inspiration and style.  These events are fun for all and no prior knowledge or skill is required in order to participate. To learn more about upcoming art demos, please see our events page.

All artists 18 years and older are welcome to submit their art for approval for any upcoming art show.  Art must adhere to the Baruch Hashem Art Department standards and must be approved in advance by the art department.  To learn more about requirements or to submit your work, please contact us!
