Youth

The youth ministry (BHS teens) is for ages 13 thru 17* and is a place designated for youth to passionately follow Yeshua and to encourage others to do the same.

The goals of the youth ministry is to be a place:

• where teens can learn about the Bible in a Messianic Jewish context
• where teens can feel free to express their opinions, goals, fears and passions
• where every teen feels welcomed, included and listened to.

We strive to raise up the next generation of believers and leaders in the Messianic movement and to build upon a solid foundation of a love for G-d’s Word.

The Youth meet in the Upstairs Assembly every Wednesday night at 7:00pm, and every Shabbat morning at 9:30am during the Shabbat School semester. We also host one fun activity a month such as game nights, a outing, etc. The youth also attend one annual retreat in the Spring put on by the YMJA and attend the Messiah Conference in Grantham, PA in July with the YMJA. The youth also holds various fundraisers throughout the year to help raise money for these trips and outings.

*Youth who turn 18 in their senior year may participate until graduation.
