L’shanah Tovah! Happy New Year!

The book of Leviticus states that Rosh HaShanah is a “holy convocation announced with blasts on the shofar”, a holy gathering. It is time for Adonai’s people to repent and remember that Yom Kippur is fast approaching. Rosh HaShanah is the beginning of the Ten Days of Awe which concludes at the end of Yom Kippur. Our website provides the Biblical history and context of these holidays as well as Tashlich. Please click here to learn more!

A Jewish feast or festival may contain multiple services and/or events. There are three services for Rosh HaShanah:  Erev Rosh HaShanah, Rosh HaShanah morning service, and Tashlich. Rosh HaShanah begins at sundown on Sunday, September 25 and continues through sundown on Monday, September 26.

Please join us for the following services. As always, there is no charge for seats and reservations are not required.

We will not have a BHS Tashlich Picnic this year after our Rosh HaShanah Service. Please plan to have a Tashlich prayer time with your family at a nearby park, and try to select a place where there is moving water.
