Chag Sameach!
We are gathering together to read His Word on Thursday, May 25 at 7:00pm in celebration of Shavuot.
Shavuot is celebrated fifty days after Pesach and is one of the three pilgrimage feasts commanded by ADONAI. It is also known as Pentecost, Feast of Weeks, the Feast of Harvest, and the Latter First Fruits. Shavuot is tied to the giving of the Torah because it is believed that G-D gave Moses the Ten Commandments at this time. For this reason, it is called Matan Torah and the tradition of studying ADONAI’s Word all night long is observed.
So, join us as we read through the first five books concurrently!
