Shavuot is just around the corner, and we’re excited to celebrate as a community! As we honor the giving of the Torah and enjoy the tradition of Jews and Gentiles coming together, we invite you to bring your favorite Biblically-kosher* family dish to share, either cold or in your crockpot. Join us on Sunday, June 1, starting at 5:00pm, for good food, company, and games. Worship service will begin at 7:00pm. We look forward to celebrating with you!
*See Leviticus 11 for a description of kosher vs. non-kosher foods. Common non-kosher foods include (but are not limited to): catfish, gelatin/marshmallows, pork (bacon/ham), shellfish (crab/lobster/shrimp), etc.
