Celebrating “The Joy of the Torah”.
This Simchat Torah will be a time of reflection and celebration. We will honor those taken captive and those who lost their lives on Shemini Atzeret, October 7, 2023, with a special tribute (this will be child appropriate). We will experience the “Joy of the Torah” through singing, dancing with the scrolls, rolling the scrolls back to B’reshit (Genesis) while chanting a verse from each of the five books, and hearing a short significant teaching. Our celebration will be on Wednesday, October 23, at 7:00 PM.
There will be a light nosh following the service. Chag Sameach!
